The Zoom out function in PlantVantage can only be used if the chart is currently in a zoomed in state. If the chart is currently in a zoomed state then a zoom out button appears. The zoom button has a circle inside it and it appears next to the scrollbars for the X and Y axis. The first image below shows what the zoom out button looks like and the second image below shows how the button is located next to one of the axis scrollbars.
If the zoom out button next to the X axis scroll bar is pressed the chart zooms out on the X axis. Similarly if the zoom button next to the Y axis scroll bar is pressed the chart zooms out on the Y axis. If the axis is still in a zoomed in state after zooming out the zoom out button for that axis still remains.. If the axis is in a normal zoom state after zooming out then the zoom out button for that axis disappears.
The unzoom button in the View Menu can also be used to zoom out both the X and Y axes simultaneously.
