One of the main functions of the User options side bar item is the ability to connect PlantVantage with a server. A server that is connected to can be a master server or a normal server. A master server has a list of other servers that it is aware of. A normal server on the other hand is not aware of any other servers.
The two different types of connections are Connecting After Startup and Connecting Automatically at Startup.
