The Time Range side bar item is used to select the different options in the retrieval of historical data.

There are a few ways of retrieving Historical Data include:

Current Time
Start To End Time
Default Data Set

 

The Items on the Time side bar item are:

 

Item

Description

Use Default data set

Checkbox that is used to determine if a default set of historical data needs to be  retrieved.

Historical Specification

A combo box that is used to change the historical specification which is used for retrieval of the historical data.

Start time

Used to specify the start time of the historical data that is to be retrieved.

End time

Used to specify the end time of the historical data that is to be retrived

Use Current Time

Checkbox that is used to determine if the end time of the historical data that is retrieved is to be set to the current time.

Number of points

Displays the number of samples and the time period of the data that is to be retrieved. The track bar can also be scrolled across to change the number of samples and time period of the historical data that is to be retrieved.

Get data

Button that is used to retrieve the historical data
