To save the grid data as an .xls Excel file when the Save Grid Data is pressed on the file menu or toolbar. Alternatively the keyboard shortcut Control + Shift + G can also be used to save the grid. When PlantVantage attempts to save the grid data a Save As window appears.
When a filename is entered and Save is clicked the data from grid is saved as an .xls file.
