The user has the option of manually inputting the amount of samples to get Historical data. The start time in the chart remains the same but the end time displayed on the chart changes according to the amount of samples that are to be retrieved.The number of samples that is to be retrieved is entered into the Sample amount text box in the View Toolbar. After entering the number of samples into the Sample amount text box clicking on Get Data button retrieves historical data based on the amount of samples that was entered.
