The Go To time functionality can be used when there is a need to view historical data around a particular time. To display the Go To Time the Go To Time button is clicked in the View Menu. 
The Go To Time dialog consists of the following parameters:

Historical specification |
The Historical specification combo box contains all the possible historical specifications that are available for the current server. |
Time |
The Time that we are interested in. This time will be the middle point in the historical data that is retrieved. |
Time Period |
The time range in which historical data is retrieved. If a change is made to the time period, the sample amount is automatically updated. |
Sample Amount |
The number of samples that is to be retrieved. If a change is made to the sample amount, the time period is automatically updated. |
Clicking the OK button on the Go To Time dialog causes the Trend chart to set the chart middle time to the time in the Date field . Also the number of samples and time period displayed in the chart is set from the sample amount and time period fields in the Go To Time Dialog. The Historical Specification currently selected in PlantVantage is changed to the Historical Specification chosen in the Go To Time Dialog.
Clicking the "Cancel" button will not cause any changes in the chart.
