At first when a server connection is attempted a Anonymous login is used unless PlantVantage remembers the user name and password for that server. An anonymous login is a login attempt with a server with no username or password. If the server does not remember the user's details and the server does not support anonymous login, the anonymous login with the server will fail.
This will generate an Anonymous Login Error. A login screen will appear giving the user an opportunity to enter username and password details.
A message like the following at the bottom of the login screen reports the error. To fix this problem a username and password needs to be entered and the login button has to be pressed again to attempt a new connection with the server.
To prompt the server to remember user details for a later session the remember login details check box should be checked.
